ChRAWnology #14

Neil enters a bizarre timewarp where two fans get engaged at ringside but not the two that he remembers getting engaged. We try to explain better. But seriously. There was a timewarp, right? Also, and possibly even more bizarrely, heel Lex Luger vs. babyface Crush.

On Episode 22 of The Special Relations join Calum McDougall, Ben Locke and Rory McNamara for over 2 hours of conversation with some wrestling chat thrown in.

Once Ben remembers to unmute his mic we debut a new feature where we get to wax lyrical about AEW as well as some slightly disparaging comments towards the Martha Hart haters.  We also continue our semi-regular series delving into 1996 as we remember and reminisce about some of the films, music, sporting events and wrestling angles from the summer. In the second part of the show we talk about and review CM Punk's interview with Colt Cabana from  2014 which details why, from Punk's point of view, he chose to leave WWE. The match pick takes us back to 2006 and a happier time when CM Punk and HHH got on.

Come for the concept but stay for the quarters and the semis, it's the Special Relations.

About one month into his reign as World Champion, how is Trevor Murdoch doing? Scott & Dr. G talk about it on this week's SS as they recap a new episode of Powersurge. Three solid matches, some great interviews (lousy interviewers) but character advancement by Jax Dane & Kamille. So sit back with your cup o' joe and enjoy the newest episode of the Saturday Special!

ChRAWnology #13

The King of the Ring can't get here soon enough. Seriously. The post-Wrestlemania lulls have set in as we get a Bret Hart interview, the end of the Beverly Brothers, and the start of a Bam Bam/Friar feud that goes absolutely nowhere. But at least Rob Bartlett is gone!

In this edition of PTBN: Youtube Roulette, it was permanent guest Matt’s turn to spin the Youtube roulette wheel and he landed on a wild brawl between Sabu and Lightning Kid, DDP vs Kanyon in front of 85 people, Booker T vs Tajiri from Japan, and a hard hitting slugfest between Kevin Steen and Masato Tanaka. The crew also discuss Shawn-alytics, cafegymatoriums, Tony Clifton, chronically ruptured buttholes, Static-X, a thorough discussion of the types of mist Tajiri uses, a new slogan for Kevin Steen, and so much more!
