Before I Was a Mark #3

On episode 3 of the pod blast series, “Before I Was a Mark”, Shawn talks 3 more matches that he has never watched pre dating his time as a wrestling fan. In this episode, a WWF Tag title match from 1985 featuring a team that is an NWA staple, an NWA Title match from Japan thats a few weeks before the one at Starrcade 83, that may be be better and close with a WWF Junior Heavyweight Title match from Japan in 1979 featuring a future bulldog!

On episode 2 of the pod blast series, “Before I Was a Mark”, Shawn talks 3 more matches that he has never watched pre dating his time as a wrestling fan. In this episode, an IC Title rematch from 1983 that takes place 5 days after an all time iconic moment, a tag match from 1982 with a first time tag team that 5 years later takes the WWF by storm and closing out is a match from Memphis from 1985 that unknowingly probably truly started the journey of one of the greatest wrestlers of all time!

Before I Was a Mark #1

On episode 1 of the new pod blast series, “Before I Was a Mark”, Shawn Kidd takes you on a journey of 3 matches each episode that he has never watched pre dating his time as a wrestling fan. In this episode, Shawn explains his timeline fandom, what got him into wrestling and premise of the pod. He then discusses an AWA World Title match from Japan with Bockwinckel vs. Funk, Murdoch vs. Gordy from Houston and closes with a Mid Atlantic tag match between Wahoo and Piper vs. Valentine and Slater.

In this edition of PTBN: YouTube Roulette, it was Scott’s turn to spin the YouTube roulette, and he came up with the Steiner Brothers/Dudley Dudley/Vampire Warrior match, the worst match of Bret Hart's career, a hidden Gem including Nick Bockwinkle and Choco Taco Guerrero, and ends the show with a Colt Cabana vs David Arquette match.
