It was Mother’s Day when this was being recorded so Marty/Stacey talk the fandom of their mothers. Only three matches are discussed. Marty & Stacey each have a Daniel Bryan match that the other didn’t; Marty had Bryan vs CM Punk from Over The Limit 2012 and Stacey had Bryan vs Cena from Summerslam 2013. Stacey goes full Stacey with an excellent breakdown of Beth Phoenix vs Kelly Kelly and we get some bonus love for Nattie vs Alicia Fox. Sit back & enjoy! Marty breaks down a couple forgotten gems in Luke Harper vs Dolph Ziggler and Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio. The latter of which Stacey turned Marty onto, but didn’t make her list, you know what they say kids, don’t meet you heroes. :p Stacey cant believe Marty chose to go see Motley Crue & KISS instead of John Cena vs CM Punk at Night of Champions 2012. When Marty finally watched it seven years later, he knew it was a draw finish, but left wondering if they instituted a special time limit for just this match. PWL v. 26 (Best of WWE 2010-2014 pt1): Marty Sleeze welcomes long-time friend and WWE Superfan Stacey aka Jimmy Redman of PWO fame on to discuss arguably the greatest period in the history of WWE, 2010-2014. Stacey’s Redman Report is legendary and perhaps the greatest list of all-time is her Top 100 WWE Matches of 2013. Stacey introduces herself and her pro wrestling fan journey. Marty & Stacey give an overview of the WWE landscape between 2010-2014 while gushing over the high water mark of 2013. This episode is dedicated to Sheamus and his indomitable greatness. Both Stacey & Marty seemingly cant get enough Sheamus on their lists. They extol his virtues and heap loads of praise upon one of the greatest pro wrestler of all times. PWL Ep. 23 (WWF 1988-97 pt 3): Pro Wrestling Love coming at you hot & heavy right here on the Place To Be Nation, Marty “Superstar” Sleeze & Pete (PeteF3 on PWO) are back for more as they continue their march through the Top 25 WWF Matches of 1988-1997. They are the half way point going through #15-#11. There is way more discussion about Ultimate Warrior and Sid Vicious than anyone would ever think of on a “Best Of” pro wrestling podcast, but Marty & Pete aren’t normal fans. Pete explains Sid’s entire arc as Sid Justice. While Marty tries desperately to prove Sid is a better wrestler than Warrior, but comes up short in terms of matches. Marty continues to extol the virtues of babyface vs babyface wrestling and how Bret Hart is the King of the genre. Pete gets in on the action picking one of his own. The Rockers get plenty of love on Pro Wrestling Love. After Marty declares who the greatest stomper is on all time in the last episode, he makes a bold proclamation on who has the best toe kick.
